We are very pleased that S.T.V. Bavaria will be joining us as the opening group for our Silver Jägerfest. There is always plenty of fun to be had at Jägerfest but S.T.V. Bavaria helps to make it that much more special.

The Schuhplattler und Trachtenverein Bavaria was established as a Club to: further the common goals and interests of its members by preserving, perpetuating and advancing German Culture and customs; promote the preservation of traditional Bavarian and Tirolean costume, folk dance (Schuhplattln) and song; and, develop and maintain an awareness of and an appreciation for German culture and customs by encouraging mutual sociability among its members and the greater community.

If you have explored our website, you already know more than the average bear about the DMV. We are a traditional Blaskapelle that likes to push the envelope. We love to bring you the traditional polkas and waltzes but continue to look for new pieces that fit into the ‘Schlager’ genre that is so popular at Oktoberfest. Bohemian Rhapsody…need we say more.
Fred Ziwich & His International Sound Machine
The ISM is an award-winning band that has produced numerous recordings since its inception in 1977. Even though they are big time stars in the polka world they are part of the DMV extended family and have been there to support us. Be sure to stick around after the DMV performs to enjoy their festive performance which always closes out Jägerfest on a great note.
